Okay, I've been dancing with the same person the whole masquerade, and I've danced more than 150 times already, I haven't met Boudewijn ONCE. I am going to the ballroom every single time. Anyone know what the heck is happening? As you guys can see, I've encountered him on the dance floor but he didn't challenge me at all... I'm also having this exact issue, dancing nonstop with the same person since the start of masquerade, visiting the dancefloor every time, but still have not found boudewjin once; but according to this thread https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/852997/Where-is-Boudewijn, it's "working as intended."

Maybe the real problem is that it requires you to dance with more than one person? If that's the case that has to be fixed ASAP.

I can't help but notice both of you say you've been dancing with one single person all Masq. I've found Boudeasdfaspdoifuauin five times but I'm dancing with anyone I can find - maybe variety is necessary?

I have no idea if that's the issue, but it seems to be the only thing that's different between your experience and mine!

several other people have asked me to dance, which I have accepted and visited the dancefloor with every acceptance. I said that I was dancing with the same person since the start because I have been requesting the same person, but other people have requested me. Saying that was only a testament to how much I've been dancing.

Hmmm. Do you guys have any custom CSS? I know that Baking wasn't working for some folks who had custom CSS. I don't know, maybe it disrupts the popup or something?

I got him a few times the first day but since I've been affected by the wardrobe glitch I haven't got him anymore, I definetely thing something is wrong. I haven't changed ANY of mysettings, so there's no reason for me not to get him anymore. Also,didn't they say last year that you're supposed to get him after a certain number of dances? It's not supposed to be random still I'm not getting him =/

I've been challenged 6-7 times already and have been dancing with a very limited number of people.

I am having the same problem. I had the same problem last year. I go to the dance floor after every dance and haven't seen him a single time since he was introduced as a challenger.

It is possible for users to dress up exactly as NPC Boudewijn, it was a Subeautique line. For some reason Atebus aristocracy wears the same thing every year, they got that way by being cheap? Anyways their costume has always been the same as the ones we could buy. It may not have been him you saw.

I haven't seen him or anyone dressed like him in the ballroom, and I've gotten him six times now. Maybe restart your browser after clearing out the cache and then disable all your add-ons/extensions? I'd normally say disable them one at a time, but you don't get him all that often so get rid of all of them.

Last year I had custom css but was able to encounter Boudewijn. I can't remember if I've added anything significant since then, but I've temporarily removed my css for now to see what happens.

Dang I was hoping that might be it. I dunno. Maybe it really is just viciously bad luck. :c

I just had this happen to me, too. I saw him in the ballroom and checked the image url to make sure it's really him. User ID 513612 leads to him so it must have been him. He has already challenged me this year though.

(lol) well I accepted more dances without any custom css and I still haven't found him so I'm not sure if it was that. I guess I'm an unlucky Luck :P

I think I've encountered him 3 times thus far, but I've only won the first time. I hope he shows up for you guys soon!

I got him on my very first dance, so I don't think it's related to the number of dances you've done. Haven't seen him since, though.

I encountered him twice the first night.. lost the first, won the second.. haven't seen him since.

Edit: I also just wanted to say that I've encountered him on the dance floor a few times as well, but after Solsticesprite said it might just be someone dressing up as him, I went ahead and figured out who it is (which you can do by right-clicking on that HA, copying the image to get their user ID, and then searching them that way), and it IS Boudwijn that we're encountering. ID 513612.
